Kevin Ware's leg

There I was, sitting on the couch, writing these blogs, when all of a sudden my roommate Parker told me about the crazy accident from last night’s March Madness basketball game. Being the Curious George I am, I had to look it up. Bad idea. Kevin Ware, a six foot two sophomore from the University of Louisville was in Indianapolis, Sunday night, playing in a heated game against Duke University. Just six minutes and thirty-three seconds into the game for the Midwest regional finals, Ware was playing defense. He jumped up in an attempt to block a shot from outside the three-point line. He came down hard with all his weight pressing down on his right leg... SNAP! Oh $#*@! It broke clean in two places at about his mid-shin. I had to cover my eyes. It wasn't pretty. It was definitely one of the most gruesome injuries in all of sports history. Kevin told his team to win the game for him, which they did with an 83-65 vicory over the Blue Devils.
