Spring

It’s been a long winter, a cold one at that. I have to say that even though Ukraine was really cold during the winter, and really hot during the summer, I still haven’t adjusted to how quickly the weather can change in Utah. One day it’s a beautiful sunny day, and the next you’re bunkered down inside because it’s a blizzard outside. So, as much as I love the snow, and skiing, I am very excited for Spring to be in full bloom that way I can just relax, and enjoy the warm weather. Springtime means new life! It means new energy, and for that I’m really excited. However, with all the flowers and trees blooming, I get really bad hay fever during this time of year. My allergies go out of control! The pollen in the air is just too much for my poor eyes to handle. I’m constantly sniffing, and rubbing my eyes. It’s rough. If I take the proper medicine then I’ll be fine, but spring is more like a prelude to summer for me sometimes. I just have to get through.
