Over the past month I have just been hammered with
schoolwork. I haven’t been in to work for about three weeks, because every free
second I have outside of class is primarily spent doing homework. It’s fair to
say that I am exhausted. I’m just worn out. I have had to pull all-nighters multiple
times at the end of this semester in order to get everything done. I’m still
trying to figure out how all of my professors seem to make the assumption that
their class is the only one I’m enrolled in…the workload they pile on you is
astounding. I could spend all my spare time working on projects, papers, and
assignments just for one of my five
classes. These teachers don’t seem to understand that we have other classes
that have their own demands. Even in this one writing class I’m surprised at
how much work our teacher requires. She’s way cool, but assigns much busy work.
We have large paper/projects that demands our time and attention, and on top of
that we have daily blog posts to write, reading assignments every day, and a
special project to work on “on the side”. Ha! As if we have any spare time on
the side… Anyway, I guess this is college. I just have to get used to it.
I feel your pain. I haven't really had much "on the side" time for my special project either. What little free time I have usually gets spent de-stressing so that I don't have a complete breakdown. The plan is to get the majority of the special project done on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I don't have tests Monday, so I'll be able to prepare the presentation then.
ReplyDeleteI can relate and let me tell you just get ready for it to become even harder. The classes get tougher and the demand higher, but the amazing thing is your ability to handle it all will increase which is cool
