It’s Sunday night, and I
think I’m going to be pulling an all-nighter again. I really don’t like doing
homework on Sundays; it’s really not something I would ever choose to do. But I
get so backed up with all these assignments that I have to prioritize, and put
off certain things of lesser value, in order to get the big things done. That’s
why I’m typing like a mad man in order to get caught up on these blog posts. I
also have to write a 5-page paper tonight about what I learned in my family
recreation class this semester. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how I can
do better next semester in school. Technically I am still a freshman at BYU,
because I haven’t transferred the transcript of the year of school I did at UVU
before my mission. So to be frank, there are some things that I have learned
the hard way this semester, primarily organization skills. I really need to be
more organized next semester. I need to put in all deadlines of all my
assignments in my calendar at the beginning of the year so that I don’t fall
behind on anything. I also need to get a head start on all projects so that I
don’t have to cram the night before to get those things done. I really need to
read the syllabus closely, and decide what I’m going to do to get the most out
of my education each semester. These are just a few things that I can do in
order to have a better experience in school.
