Little League

I grew up playing every sport a young boy could play. I started with soccer, which I was decent at, but never really developed a real passion for. At the same time I was playing baseball, which was pretty much the same. I was good enough when I was a lad to make the little league all-star team, but just didn’t find a love for the sport. When I turned eight I started playing football, and finally found my passion. At first I wasn’t very coordinated. I was small and skinny. My first year, I barely made the field as a defensive end, but mainly got some pity playing time. The next year I worked really hard, and decided that I wanted to play offense. My new coach was a neighbor, and so when he said, “Who wants to play quarterback?” I quickly raised my hand. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I really wanted to be somebody. I watched countless hours of John Elway highlight videos, and just dreamt of someday playing in the NFL. Day by day I practiced. I got better. I went on to play 8 seasons as the staring QB for my little league Alta football team. It was great J
